Melbourne's Manor still feel like a relatively new band, although they did come to our attention almost two years ago now with their dreamy song, 'Architecture'. Twenty-four months or so down the line and the duo are back with another downtempo psych-pop tongue-twister, 'Can You Hear Me Talking At You'. Nagging guitar riffs and lilting drums form the core of the melody, while the occasional twinkle of keys serves to compliment layer-upon-layer of Caitlin Duff's balmy vocals. Mixed by Gareth Jones and mastered by Joe Lambert, known respectively for their work with Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective, this engrossing cut suggests Manor's upcoming debut EP will be a go-to record throughout summer. - DC
